Winter, Letter "W", and More!

What a great week we've had! It's so much fun seeing everyone back at school!

Be sure to check out our hallway bulletin board!

Our new activity table has been a big hit this week.

It's the perfect spot to create structures.

We created a snowy scene.

We observed that the paint was
both "wet" and "cold"

We sang our "White" song.

The star is our shape this month. Some of us
made stars in Creation Station.

We worked on so many different puzzles this week.

Our new sandbox and sandbox toys have
also been a big hit this week.

We read a lot of books.

The sandbox is really fun with a friend.

We created a nighttime sky. We used blue, purple, and black paint.

We covered a HUGE piece of paper...big
enough to cover our hallway bulletin board.

We are learning that the words in a book
go from left to right.

We cut star shapes and painted them with yellow.

Trains are always a favorite toy.

We work in our journals every morning. This week we
worked on letter "W" words.

We created musical instruments by putting beans in bottles.

Shake, shake, shake...

shake, shake, shake...

shake your bottle...

shake your bottle!

We scoop and pour in the sandbox.

There was a truck in the parking lot to take
away a bunch of brush. It was so exciting to watch!

We added snow to the trees we
made before winter break.
