Shapes, Winter Trees, Gingerbread Men, and More!

Wishing all of you a wonderful winter break with your kiddos!
See you January 5th!

We work on our journals every morning.
This week we're reviewing shapes.

Reading is a big part of our day.

After we have snack we always clean our spot.

There are new things to create with every day in Creation Station.

We painted green trees. They are shaped
like a triangle.

We sang our song, "Bye-bye, white. Hello, green".

We painted the trunk brown.
The trunk is a square shape.

We cut out a gingerbread man.

We painted the gingerbread men brown.

After snack we always push our chairs in.

Surrounded by dinosaurs!

"I made the letter P!"

The "Toy Story" Mr. Potato Head set was a big hit!

We made all three characters.

"To Infinity and Beyond!"

We added features to our gingerbread men.

We cut triangles to create a hat.

We glued cotton balls across the bottom
and at the top.

We asked for the supplies we needed.

Our gingerbread men LOVE their hats!

Playing the drums is so much fun.

We take turns being the calendar helper.

We move the beads from one side to the other.
We count them and name their color.

Creation Station!

We decorated trees.

Some of us did dots.

Some of us did lines.

And some of us covered the entire tree.

Our beautiful trees!

At the top of the slide.

At the bottom of the slide.

We work together to create structures.

We created art with our leftover paint.

Winter has arrived in our outdoor play area!
