Turkeys, Bears, Chalk, and More!

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your amazing kiddos!

See you Monday!

Our Thanksgiving placemats turned out great!

We are learning about the color brown.

We created bears by tap, tap, tapping
a sponge into brown paint and then
onto a paper with a bear stencil on it.

We covered every bit of the bear.

We sing our painting song while we paint.
"Bye-bye, white. Hello, brown."

We work together to construct things.

Mr. Thomson visited us on Scarlet
and Black day. He found a match!

Thanks for visiting, Mr. Thomson!

We wrote the words "TEDDY" and "BEAR" on our bear art.

We added eyes, a nose, and a mouth.
We also added buttons. Look for our brown bears
and owls to show up on the bulletin
board next week!

We love to color with chalk. Sometimes
our hands get chalk dust on them, but we
decided that that is not a problem at all.

Owls, Turkeys, Brown, Letter "T", and More!

We've had more awesome fun while learning!

Next week there are only two days of school. We'll see you Monday and Tuesday.

Our owls from last week turned out great!
Look for these to appear in the hallway soon.

We snipped brown paper and glued the pieces onto
the letters of the word "BROWN".

We carefully put each piece on the letters.

We created letter "T" art by gluing letter
"T" objects on our letter "T" paper.

We practiced the letter "T" sound.

We requested each of the objects.

We discovered that there are a lot of words that start
with the letter "T"!

Every day during circle time we talk about the weather.
Our weather helper goes to the window, looks outside, and
tells the class if it's sunny, cloudy, or rainy.

Our letter "T" art turned out great!

Ms. Parsons painted everyone's hands.

We stamped our hands on paper.
It's going to become a turkey!

Some of us used the leftover paint from our
hands to make fall colored art.

We added features to our turkeys.

Legs, eyes, beaks, and waddles.

"Gobble, gobble!"

It's fun to work with something as a team.

Listening to books being read is wonderful.

Mr. Potato Head, Tree Home, Diamonds, and More!

We love school!
Check out all we've been up to!

Reading with friends is so much fun!

Mr. Potato Head has so many different looks.

We played with the animals in the
tree home. Some were in the top, some
in the middle, and some in the bottom.

We created letter "L" art by gluing letter "L"
objects on letter "L" paper.

We practiced the letter "L" sound
with every object.

We pretended to be Mr. Potato Head.

Mr. Potato Head chatting with Mr. Potato Head!

We played with the animals and their tree home.

It's fun to move and count the beads on the wire.

We read every day.

We glued small diamonds on a big diamond.

Another word for diamond is rhombus.

Our letter "L" art work turned out great!

It's super fun to read to a friend!

Our diamonds on diamonds turned out great!

We shop for different
toys every day.

Mr. Potato Head is a favorite
toy this week.

We're creating owls. We cut a big circle,
a small circle, and a triangle.

We love Creation Station! We create whatever we want
in this center. Our art is awesome!

We have so much fun scooping and pouring in our sandbox.

The dinosaurs were outside this week. It's fun to feed them.

We added feathers, eyes, and a beak to our owls.

They are brown, our color of the month.
