Worms, Creating Brown, Shaving Cream, Ice, the Letter "W", and More!

What a fabulous week this has been!

We love working with magnetic blocks.

"It's a tree!"

Insect puzzle completed!

Magnetic blocks rock!

The worms we measured the other day took a nap in the baby bed.

Ocean Life puzzle completed!

We mixed red, yellow, and blue to make brown for our worms.
We did it just like the rabbit did in the book "White Rabbit Color Book".

We each got a letter's worth of shaving cream and we played with
plastic worms.  We decided the shaving cream was "wet".

The dinosaurs, water, and sand that we put in the freezer froze!
It was too cold to hold very long.

More mixing of colors to make brown.

Stir, stir, stir.

Afternoon shaving cream fun with worms.
We wrote letters and drew shapes in the shaving cream.

We gave ourselves white Santa beards just like in our "White" song!

The next morning all the ice had melted.

Construction Site puzzle completed!

Putting more blocks on the top, top, top.

We created letter "W" art by gluing letter "W" words onto letter "W" paper.

We practiced the letter "W" sound.

We put the blocks on the top, top, top.

We added segments to the worms.  We measured the length across
different parts of the worm.  Then we measured brown yarn to be the right length.
Then we glued the yarn on.  At the end we glued eyes on our worms "just for fun" because
we know that worms don't really have eyes.

Hula-hooping with our Pre-K friends.

We created the letter "W" using three "big lines".
