Week of April 17, 2017

We take turns being the calendar helper during Circle Time.

We are learning about insects.


The ladybug is listening to the ladybug story.

We create art in Creation Station.

The playground is so much fun!

We cut grass. Look for it on our bulletin board.

We stay hydrated.

The train is a big hit this week.

We pretend to be Mr. Potato Head.




We colored the letter "I" while we sang a letter "I" song.

We cut the letter "I" while we practiced the letter "I" sound.


We counted insects.

We created structures with star builders.

We love the Zilker library.


We create art with paint.


We cut out butterfly shapes. Butterflies are symmetrical.

We draw with friends.

We put paint on half of the butterfly, folded it over, and smooshed it creating symmetrical butterflies.

They're symmetrical!!!

We cut two antennae.

We glued two eyes on.

We glued two antennae on. Look for them on the bulletin board!

We practiced cutting with play dough.

We created letters with play dough.

We read along with a video.



 What a great week!!!

  2. Hey, I didn't think students were supposed to have this much fun in school, Ms. Parsons. Love all the pics - especially Mr. Potato Head!
