Fall and Autumn, the Letter "L", Brown, Trees, and More!

Another fun-filled week! And a reminder, there is no school on Wednesday, November 11.

We fed the monkey some bananas and the dog some bones.

We worked with the letter blocks.

We cut leaf shapes out of fall colors painted paper.

During snack time we count our snacks.

We also make patterns.

We chose where we wanted our fall leaves to go on
the classroom tree.

We worked with the wood pieces to form letters.

We created structures.

Everyone gets to be the song helper during Circle Time.

We hold the pointer and point to the letters and pictures.

We sing the song while we point.

When we're done we had the pointer to the next person.

We created fall trees.

We put a bunch of leaves at the top.

We also put some fallen leaves at the bottom.

We had a fire drill.

At the end of the day we choose which hat
we want to wear. Sometimes we choose
the big hat.

Sometimes we choose the little hat.

We say "Yee-haw!"

After we say "Yee-haw" we move our name
and then it's time to go home.

We're learning about the letter "L" and the shapes that are
used to make it. We created ladders out of the big lines and the
little lines that make the letter "L".

We clapped when we did a GREAT job!

We are creating a classroom tree. It's going to
be made out of three boxes...a big one, a medium
one, and a little one. We mixed brown paint,
oatmeal, and glue to create a mixture to apply
to the boxes.

We are creating bark.

When we ran out of brown paint we mixed
orange and green paint to create more brown.

Our bark is going to feel rough when it dries.

We covered every side of the boxes.
We went shopping. The baby sat in the seat
and friends helped fill the cart.

And pizza! We can't forget pizza!

We love drawing Mat Man!

Our tree home turned out great!
