Yeehawwww!
It's farm time! Check out all the wonderful things we have been doing
this week! It has been such a wonderfully busy week! At the beginning of
the week we painted our barn shape and silo the color red by using our
hands to paint! Then we glued grey rectangular shingles to the roof!
Rectangles are the shape of the month! We also added white rectangles
for the framework and also to create doors and windows. After learning
about what a silo is for, we added grain and hay to the barn and silo.
We are now working on some farm animals to join the fun! We have started
to make lambs, which is such a great letter L word! Letter L is the
letter of the week! What are some more letter L words that you can think
of?
Also,
look how hard our puzzle workers were working! They did such a
wonderful job working together to put together our farm puzzle! We also
made lollipops out of our fine motor blocks! How awesome is that letter L
word! During centers we matched farm animals to the letters on the
classroom rug. Sheep starts with letter S and Turkey starts with letter
T! In the toys center we built a barn and a silo for our farm animals
with our blocks! Great work! We also used black paint (look at that
color of the month!) to stamp farm animals! Keep checking back as our
farm continues to grow and be on the look out for critters showing up in
the next week!
