Painting, Digging, Cutting and More!

Here's what we've been up to so far this week.

We wrapped up our letter P activity from last week by adding
a beak, eyes, and legs to our peacocks.

We worked with magnets during morning centers.
We love how they stick together (attract) and sometimes work
really hard to be apart (repel).

We started working on our new letter of the week, "J".
We painted craft sticks orange.  Keep reading to find out why!

It was super fun and messy!

We worked on our fine motor skills by picking up plastic fruit with tongs.
We made fruit salad!

We put a dinosaur puzzle together.

We used sticks to dig outside in the dirt with our Pre-K friends.

We found dinosaur bones!

We found treasure!

We created jack-o-lanterns (a great letter "J" word) by adding features
to the sticks we painted orange.  We cut out triangles.
We drew and cut out a very scary mouth.
We drew and cut out a leaf for the top.  They're awesome!!
