Week of September 26, 2016

We cut out a circle, a square, a triangle, and a rectangle.

Puzzle comleted!

We worked on putting the pieces in order to create dinosaur pictures.

We did it!

We have so much fun during morning centers.

We sang a shape house song and used the shapes we cut out to create a house and a sun.

Cash and Ms. Vreeland came to visit.

We LOVE Cash!

We created art with watercolor.

We are learning about large, medium, and small.

We created all the parts of "The Three Bears". This is the porridge.

Our houses are awesome! Look for them and our quotes in the hallway.

We made cubes out of our huge waffle blocks.

We stacked letter blocks.

Puzzle completed!

We began creating mini versions of ourselves.

We add features to Mr. Potato Head.

We love making Mat Man!

We did the wood stick hokey pokey...big curves UP!

We pretend to be Mr. Potato Head.

Cash, the school's therapy dog visited with our school counselor, Ms. Vreeland.

We create a lot of art in Creation Station.

We are practicing our letter "C" words.

We colored clothing for our mini versions of ourselves.

Then we cut them out.

We write in our journals ever day.

We create words.

We used our knees to push the huge waffle blocks together.

Week of September 12th

We put the letter blocks on the letter carpet.

We scooped food for the animals.

We work with friends to put puzzles together.

We made structures with MagnaTiles.

The marble towers were a HUGE hit this week.

We worked in our sensory bin.

We created pictures with shapes.

We talked about the sense of touch. (not pictured: instruments played for hearing, color game for sight)

We practiced our cutting skills.

We line up before we go places.

We love putting a puzzle together with a friend.

We tasted things and decided if we liked it or didn't care for it.

We practiced the letter "C" sound and wrote letter "C" words.

We take turns being the color song helper.

We talked about the sens of smell and created art using cinnamon.
