Letter E, Elephants, Eggs, and more!

We have been so busy this week! We have been working on patterns using oval shapes with the colors of the month (pink and purple) to make caterpillars. We were so excited to finally get to explore in the pink bag that is in the writing center! We found pink icing and pink pigs just like in our pink song! We have also been practicing writing words with the letter E such as egg and elephant! Also check out our bunny ears that we made! We had so much fun at the egg hunt by finding eggs in, on, in front or behind things outside! Next week starts a new month, which means a new color and shape of the month! Community, Eggs, and the Letter "E"

Welcome back from spring break! This has been such a wonderful week! Our construction workers have been hard at work and have completed their community. We have so much fun driving our cars in the community on the roads that we painted! During centers we love working with our construction tools to help build structures. In the science center we have discovered eggs! What a wonderful discovery! Lately the weather has been so nice out, that we decided to bring chalk out during playground time. We drew clouds and mountains. We also wrote the words red, pink, and bed! How wonderful! This week we are working on the letter E. We love exploring in the letter E bags to find letter E objects. We also created our letter E art paper! Since the seasons have changed and it is now spring, our classroom tree is blooming. We made pink and purple flowers by crumpling tissue paper. We then pointed to the top, bottom, middle, or sides to show where we wanted to put the flowers. Pink and purple are also the colors of the month. We are looking forward to next week and all the wonderful things that we will learn! Keep checking back to see what we are working on!

Community Helpers!
