Fun Friday, and Letters "A" and "H"

Check out what we've been up to!

We painted the letter "H".

We played with a house...a great letter "H" word!

We worked with small fine motor manipulatives.

They were so much fun!  We even figured out how to make them into letters!

We love fine motor Fun Fridays!!!  It's so much fun figuring out how to make these toys "go"!!

The new playground has so many fun things to do.

Jam Session, Letter "H" and More!

We've had so much fun learning this week!

We had a seriously awesome morning jam session!  Watch for our CD release soon!

We created some amazing art work.

Some of us created heart mosaics by tearing and gluing red paper on to a heart shape.

After we got our table all covered with paint, we used shaving cream to clean it off.  

But first we played with it!  We used our fingers to create letters and shapes.

We've been studying the letter "H" and the sound it makes.  

"H" starts words like house, hand, heart, and happy face!!!

Letters, Numbers, Building, and More

We've been very busy this week!  Look at some of what we've done!

We put dinosaur/number puzzles together.

We created structures out of fish blocks.

We colored apple trees and added apples...we love the letter "A"!

We built amazing structures with our HUGE blocks!

We are very proud of our work.

We've been learning about the shapes that make upper case letters.

Big curve, little curve, big line, and little line.

We practiced making some letters on our class carpet.

We had so much fun at school!

Our First Three Weeks!

We've had a great first three weeks of school!  Here's some of what we've been up to!!!

We created an amazing school bus!  We painted a big box yellow, cut out black wheels and glued them on, wrote the word "STOP" and glued it on the bus, and last we wrote "SCHOOL" on one side and "BUS" on the other.  We are having so much fun with it!!!

We've been drawing a lot.  We've used crayons, regular markers, and dry erase markers.

Some of us made self portraits in the PPCD classroom, some of us made them in Pre-K.

We love drawing!!

We've had so much fun in Creation Station.  We can glue objects on paper any way we want to.

We created the letter "A" using wood pieces.  Two big lines and one little line.

Our bulletin board with our work on it is FABULOUS!!

We created weather symbols to use during Circle Time when we discuss the weather.  The weather helper of the day looks out the window and decides if it's sunny, cloudy, or rainy.  Then Ms. Parsons puts the symbol over our classroom tree.

This is our fabulous classroom tree.  We stuffed a big round trunk, twisted branches and chose where they'd be, and then we created leaves and chose where they'd go.  As the seasons change, our classroom tree will change, too.

And we have LOVED centers!!!
