Sparkly Stars and Doggies
Today we added glitter to our stars. We used our fingers to squeeze the glue bottle and to pick up the glitter and sprinkle it on the glue. Two of our friends added fur to their doggies in their art class.

Snowflakes
Today we added snowflakes and a trunk to our winter trees. We used a snowflake-shaped sponge dipped in white paint to tap, tap, tap at the top of the paper to make snowflakes. We used our fingers dipped in brown paint to smear a trunk a the bottom of our trees.
And, check out what happened in the small toys center today! You just never know what those dolls will do!

It's getting wintery!
When we got to school this morning, all of the fall leaves had fallen off of the classroom tree! So exciting, winter is here! Today we created winter trees (the kind that stay green) by using sponges to tap, tap, tap green paint inside a tree-shaped stencil. We'll be adding snow to them tomorrow. Check out our hallway bulletin board! Our snowflakes are up...look for more additions soon!

The Biggest Snowball Ever!
Today we read one of my favorite PPCD books, "The Biggest Snowball Ever". It's about a big snowball with a bunch of kids in it. We used white play dough, that we created yesterday, and some little Lakeshore people to recreate the story. SO MUCH FUN! Our play dough is awesome...it has white glitter in it to make it sparkly and it smells super minty!
